Giancarlo Butti neckties are completely handmade in Italy, by Italian silk from the "Varese ' near Como. Como is world capital for the high quality silk, which is identified by a long thin yet strong thread.

Giancarlo Butti neckties are professionally finished with hand-stitched saddle stitch or ' Hemming Line ', a ' Passentino'-tab on the inside of the neckties and a ' self ', of the ' self tipping ' the point at the back is of the same fabric as the tie.
